Two men in car in Oldham shot in 'targeted attack'

Two men have been shot in a "deliberate and targeted attack" while they were sitting in a car in Greater Manchester, police have said.

The men, aged 19 and 20, were in a Seat Leon on Radcliffe Street, Oldham, on Sunday evening when the gunman approached and started talking to them.

He then shot one in the abdomen and one in the buttocks before walking away.

Police said the injuries were "serious but not life-threatening" and it was "hugely fortunate" neither was killed.
