Family pay tribute to Bury motorcyclist killed in crash

The family of a motorcyclist who died in hospital after a collision in Greater Manchester said they were "completely distraught" by his death.

Gary Bell, 23, was travelling along Bond Street, Bury, when he crashed into a silver Toyota Yaris car shortly after overtaking a vehicle on Friday.

He was taken to hospital suffering from serious head and chest injuries but died on Saturday.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them.

His family said in a statement: "We are devastated by what's happened, he was so loving and as a family we are completely distraught.

"There are no words to describe how much he will be missed by all of his family and friends."
