Bolton child rape inquiry leads to more arrests

Four more men have been arrested on suspicion of sexually exploiting a teenage girl in Bolton.

It is alleged the 15-year-old was the victim of numerous rapes, between July 2011 and September 2012.

Three men, aged 21, 34 and 45 have been arrested on suspicion of rape, while a 24 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction.

The men have been released on bail until 15 January as have five other men also arrested last month.

The earlier arrests were made at addresses in Bolton and Farnworth on suspicion of rape and conspiracy to rape.
