Man arrested over Rusholme armed robberies released

A 20-year-old man who was arrested in connection with eight armed robberies in Greater Manchester has been released without charge.

The gunpoint robberies, which took place in Rusholme, happened over a two week period from Tuesday, 15 November. The last one was reported on Sunday.

Greater Manchester Police arrested the man on Friday.

A spokesperson said he had now been released without charge and inquiries were continuing.
