Bury's Kevin Dewhurst talks of 'zombie' tranquiliser effects


A man who has been taking tranquilisers for 17 years has been talking about the side effects he has experienced.

Kevin Dewhurst, from Bury, Greater Manchester, has been taking the drug since he had a nervous breakdown.

"You can't feel emotions, high or low," he said. "You're operating on automatic pilot - you're like a zombie basically."
