Police charge 18 men over Manchester Chinatown disorder

Violent disorder charges have been brought against 18 men following disturbances in Manchester's Chinatown in June last year.

Six men were stabbed and required hospital treatment after a fight broke out between groups of men on George Street at 0220 BST on 16 June.

The men, from Greater Manchester, will appear at the city's magistrates court on 21 and 22 February.

Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking officers helped in the investigation.
