Teenagers killed in Handforth car crash

Two teenagers were killed when their car crashed into a field in Cheshire.

The VW Golf left the A34 Handforth Bypass close to the A555 junction at 2350 GMT on Sunday, a Cheshire Police spokesman said.

An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both thought to be from the area, died in the crash.

Two other men in the car freed themselves and were taken to Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester. Their injuries were not life threatening.
