Tribute paid to Chadderton road crash victim

The family of a 20-year-old woman who died in a road crash in Greater Manchester have paid tribute to her.

Michaela Murray was killed after she was hit by a car on Hollinwood Avenue, Chadderton, at its junction with Owler Lane, on Saturday.

She was taken to hospital with head injuries after the crash, which happened at 1015 GMT, but later died.

Her family said: "She was a lovely, bubbly, friendly girl and lit up the room when she walked in.

"She was loved by everybody and will be very deeply missed by all her family and friends."

Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call police.
