A man suspected of raping a 14-year-old girl in Greater Manchester has been missing for six months after skipping bail, police have revealed.
Henry Akhigbe, 26, is believed to have attacked the girl at a house on Copster Hill Road, Oldham, in February.
He was arrested and released on bail until May - but failed to report in to police and has not been seen since.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said he could be anywhere in the country and warned the public not to approach him.
They said they had explored all other avenues in their search to find him before making the appeal.
Mr Akhigbe, a Nigerian student, has previously lived in Oldham and is known to frequent various locations in Manchester.
Det Con Tim Hegarty, of the Oldham Sexual Crime Unit, said: "We want people to take a good look at Akhigbe's picture and tell us if they have seen him or know of his whereabouts.
"We don't want people to approach him directly, if you see him call 999, saying you have seen a person who is wanted by the police.
"He is wanted in connection with a serious sexual related crime. It is imperative we bring him in as soon as possible."
