Dead Manchester clubber was stabbed in neck, police say

A man who died after a fight in a Manchester city centre nightclub was stabbed in the neck, police have said.

Amenaghwon Augustine Osaikhuiwoumwan was taken to hospital, which was close to the Park Nite Club in Grosvenor Street, after the fight in the early hours of Sunday but died shortly after.

A post-mortem examination carried out on Mr Osaikhuiwoumwan revealed that an artery was severed by a bottle.

Greater Manchester Police has appealed for information.
