Man stabbed to death in East Dulwich named

A man who was stabbed to death in south-east London has been named as 39-year-old Dennis Anderson.

Mr Anderson, from Lewisham, was attacked after an argument at an off-licence in Lordship Lane, East Dulwich, near the junction with East Dulwich Grove, at about 02:30 GMT on Sunday.

He was treated by paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 03:00.

No arrests have been made, and police are appealing for information.

Det Insp Domenica Catino, from the Metropolitan Police, said: "We need to hear from anyone that may have been in the area on Sunday morning who may have information on the circumstances of this tragic turn of events.

"Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could really help our investigation.

"Our top priorities now are to support Mr Anderson's family and catch the person responsible for this horrible attack."

A post-mortem is due to be held on Tuesday.
