Murder probe launched over east London 'assault'
A man has died after being "assaulted" in the early hours in east London.
The police and ambulance service were called to All Saints DLR station in East India Dock Road shortly after midnight.
The man, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Metropolitan Police have launched a murder investigation. A spokesman said he may have been the victim of an assault. No arrests have been made.
Officers from the Met's homicide and major crime command have been informed and enquiries continue, the force added.
The victim has not yet been formally identified and next of kin are yet to be informed.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
