Man held over fatal stabbing near Bethnal Green Tube

A man has been arrested after a fatal stabbing near a Tube station in London.

The victim, 31, was found with a stab wound to the heart near Bethnal Green underground on Friday, police said.

He was discovered slumped at a petrol station on the junction of Old Ford Road and Cambridge Heath Road.

Police believe he had been at a boxing event at York Hall and was attacked after a row with several people. A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
