Jack-knifed lorry causes disruption in Shepherd's Bush
A lorry carrying a crane brought a large part of west London to a standstill after it became jack-knifed across a box junction on a major road.
Shepherd's Bush, Holland Park, Earl's Court, Hammersmith and East Acton remain severely congested after the vehicle became wedged outside Shepherd's Bush Station at 07:30 GMT.
The lorry has been shifted but road closures remain in place.
Police are directing traffic away from the area.
Transport for London (TfL) said buses were still being delayed by over 60 minutes and London Underground (LU) has been accepting bus tickets in Zones One and Two.
Twitter users said the lorry had become stuck when it tried to turn towards Westfield shopping centre.
Others took to social media to register their annoyance with the lorry driver.
