Teen charged with murder after Acton stabbing death
A teenager has been charged with the murder of a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed in the heart in west London.
Police were alerted to the stabbing on Crown Street, Acton, just before midday on 16 October. The victim was taken to hospital but died from his injuries.
A post-mortem examination found he died from a single stab wound to the heart.
The 16-year-old, who was arrested on Saturday, is due before Bromley Magistrates' Court on Monday, Scotland Yard said.
A 17-year-old boy, arrested on suspicion of murder, has been bailed until November.
The dead youth has yet to be formally identified.
