A man has been found not guilty of the murder of a suspected gang boss who was shot dead in north London.

Ali Armagan, 32, from Hackney, was shot in the neck while he sat in his car near Turnpike Lane Tube station in February 2012. He died on the pavement.

Omer Murat, 28, of no fixed abode, was cleared at the Old Bailey.

Three men have already been sentenced after they pleaded guilty to conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm in connection with Mr Armagan's murder.
