Four men arrested over fatal Downham stabbing

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in south London.

Police were called to reports of a fight in Downham, near Bromley, on Sunday. A 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene at about 21:45 BST.

The victim is understood to be Afyon Saint-Hilaire. Police said they are awaiting formal identification.

Two men aged 18 and 19 and two aged 23 are being held at a police station.

The victim's next of kin have been informed.

A post-mortem examination gave the man's cause of death as shock, haemorrhage and a stab wound to the leg.

Officers said it was not being treated as gang related.
