Lorry crash driver charged with death of cyclist Alan Neve

A lorry driver has been charged with causing the death of a cyclist in central London by careless driving.

Barry Meyer, 52, of Walthamstow, is accused of causing the death of Alan Neve in High Holborn shortly before 09:30 BST on 15 July.

He is also charged with driving without insurance and a licence offence.

Mr Neve, from Poplar, was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr Meyer will appear on bail Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on 5 August.
