A girl who was killed when a car crashed into her and her mother at a bus stop in north-west London has been named as Lily-Rose Murphy.

The 11-year-old died at The Common in Stanmore on Wednesday when a Ford Fiesta struck her and her mother, and crashed into a stationary bus.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a broken neck. Her mother, 46, was critically injured.

The 69-year-old female driver was also taken to hospital with injuries.
