Teenagers arrested as policemen injured in moped collision

Two 15-year-olds have been arrested on suspicion of assault after two police officers were hit by mopeds.

The plain clothes officers tried to stop three people on two mopeds in Conduit Street, central London, on Thursday afternoon.

The policemen were hit by the vehicles and taken to hospital. They have now been discharged.

The teenagers have also been held on suspicion theft.

They remain in police custody. Officers said they are trying to locate a third person in connection with the incident.
