Teacher not guilty of pupil assault in Southwark

A teacher has been found not guilty of assaulting a 10-year-old girl at a school in south London.

Rally Ikiebe, 49, of Wrottesley Road, Willesden, north London, was discharged at Inner London Crown Court, a court official confirmed.

He had been charged with committing actual bodily harm on a pupil at a school in Southwark on 17 January.

Mr Ikiebe had denied the charge and was acquitted by the jury.
