London's Hogarth Flyover reopens after storm damage closure

A busy flyover in west London that had been closed after problems found during inspections following Monday's storm has reopened.

Transport for London took the precaution of shutting the Hogarth flyover in Chiswick after "degradation in the concrete road deck" was found.

It carried out inspections throughout Tuesday and the route on the A316 was opened to traffic on Wednesday morning.

Traffic had been being diverted via the Hogarth roundabout.
