Mark Duggan inquest: Brother says Duggan 'normal' before death

The brother of Mark Duggan, who was fatally shot by police, has told an inquest he sounded "normal" on the phone minutes before his death.

Marlon Duggan told the court their conversation was like "any other day" and they planned to meet at Broadwater Farm Estate later that night.

Mr Duggan, 29, was shot by police in Tottenham after intelligence indicated he could be in possession of guns.

His death sparked riots in London, which spread across England in 2011.

The inquest, which is on-going, is being held at the Royal Courts of Justice to ascertain whether Mr Duggan was lawfully or unlawfully killed.
