A man who was stabbed to death during a fight at a fairground in west London has been named by police.

Surjeet Singh, 23, was attacked in Southall Park on Monday evening. He was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.

A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the neck. Next of kin have been told.

Seven men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and have been released on bail until the weekend.

Det Ch Insp Russell Taylor, who is leading the investigation, said: "This was a large fight at a fairground in Southall Park and many people would have witnessed the attack as well as the aftermath.

"We still want to hear from people who can help us piece together the events that led up to this murder."
