Forest Gate stabbing: Man arrested after boy, 17, dies

A teenager has been stabbed to death and another has suffered a knife wound in an attack in east London.

The stabbing happened on Sandringham Road, Forest Gate, at about 16:00 BST on Thursday. It brings the total number of teenagers murdered in London by knives or guns to seven this year.

Champion Ganda, 17, died at the scene and a boy of 16 is reported to be in a stable condition in hospital.

A 21-year-old man is being held on suspicion of murder.
