Cutty Sark named 'worst new building' by architects

The restored Cutty Sark has been named the "worst new building" by architects website Building Design.

The ship reopened to the public in April after a £50m refit following a devastating fire in 2007.

But Building Design website and the Victorian Society said the new design has obscured the Cutty Sark's distinctive shape at the quayside in Greenwich.

BBC London's Gareth Furby spoke to the Victorian Society director Chris Costelloe and Cutty Sark Trust chairman Richard Doughty.
