Headteacher compensated over sacking from Lambeth school

A headteacher dismissed from his job over claims of bullying has been awarded a payout of more than £100,000.

James Walker received the compensation from Lambeth Council after an employment tribunal found he was unfairly dismissed from Henry Fawcett Primary School in Kennington.

The employment tribunal said the council's probe "amounted to a fishing exercise" and found many of its witnesses were not credible.
