West London school giving 9/11 lessons in history class

Help

A school in west London is teaching the events of the 9/11 attacks in its history lessons.

Some of the pupils being taught at the Burlington Danes Academy in Hammersmith were aged three when the 9/11 attacks took place.

A recent study by the Institute of Education suggested that some teenagers in the UK were unclear about exactly what happened on 11 September, 2001.

This Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of the terror attacks in which almost 3,000 people died.
