Leroy James death: Boy remanded over Enfield stabbing

A 14-year-old who has been charged with murdering another schoolboy in a park in north London has been refused bail at the Old Bailey.

Leroy James, who was 14 and came from Edmonton, was stabbed in Ponders End Recreation Ground in Enfield.

He was found slumped against a climbing wall in the park last Wednesday.

The accused, who cannot be named because of his age, was remanded into secure accommodation. No date has been set for his next court appearance.
