Riots: Croydon's Reeves Furniture store demolished

Help

A furniture store in south east London that has been run by the same family for 144 years has been demolished after it was destroyed in a fire during rioting on Monday night.

Reeves Furniture was so well-known in Croydon that it had even had a tram stop named after it.

The Reeves family have said they are not sure if they will rebuild on the same site but that they will keep on trading.
