Two remanded over Vitalijs Janovics death

Two 18 year olds have been charged with the murder of a man near Bermondsey Tube station in south-east London.

The victim, 38-year-old waiter Vitalijs Janovics, was stabbed close to a bus stop on Jamaica Road early on 22 July.

Kai Taliana, of the Vauban Estate, Bermondsey, and Khaled Ait-Said, of Mansell Street, Poplar, east London, were remanded in custody by Croydon Magistrates' Court.

They are both due to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.

Mr Janovics, of Long Lane, Borough, died from a stab wound to the heart.
