London 2012: Takeover of Drapers Field 'worrying'


Waltham Forest Council is currently asking its residents how best to spend investment money for parks, which it will receive from London 2012 organisers.

The borough is getting the cash in exchange for allowing a temporary Olympic takeover of an existing sports facility, even though it will put the current Drapers Field facilities out of action for 18 months.

Not everyone thinks it is a good deal, and one regular user, Danielle Ferguson, has made a short film for the BBC explaining why.
