London mayor Boris Johnson's 2012 rough sleeper pledge


London mayor Boris Johnson has pledged that there will be no rough sleepers in the city by 2012.

His announcement came as the government handed £8m to his office to tackle the problem.

Latest figures show there are 415 people sleeping rough in London.
