Boy, 15, remanded over Walthamstow bus death

A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of a teenager who was run over by a bus.

Ezekiel Amosu, 17, from Walthamstow, east London, suffered fatal crush injuries when he was hit by the number 123 bus on Monday night.

He was pronounced dead at the scene on Forest Road in Walthamstow.

The 15-year-old appeared at Waltham Forest Magistrates' Court on Thursday and was remanded in custody.

He will next appear at the same court on 2 February.
