Fourth male charged in Peckham burning car murder case

A fourth male has been charged in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old whose body was discovered in a burning car in south London.

Samuel Ogunro's body was found after firefighters put out the blaze on Jowett Street, Peckham, on 2 June 2010.

He had died of a bullet wound to the head.

Adeoyin James-Odukoya, 21, of New Place Square, south London, has been charged with conspiracy to murder.

He will appear at Tower Bridge Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

In September 2010, Ola Apena, 21, and Rocky Thompson, 25, both of no fixed address, were charged with conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

In October 2010, a 17-year-old male from Peckham, south London, was charged with conspiracy to murder and assisting an offender.

All three were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 3 May.
