Footage of a shopkeeper and his son fighting off two masked robbers armed with a gun and a knife has been released by police.
The CCTV images show the suspects enter the Gonca supermarket on Blackstock Road in Finsbury Park, north London.
The gunman is seen pistol-whipping the son, 25, and the knifeman repeatedly trying to stab his father, 46.
Both the shopkeeper and his son escaped with cuts and bruises and were treated in hospital.
Police describe the knifeman and gunman as black, and aged about 20.
The incident, which took place on the evening of 21 December, spilled out onto the street before the attackers fled empty-handed.
It is believed the pair have made off down nearby Monsell Road and may have got into a dark-coloured Vauxhall Astra.
Threatening staff
The gunman wore blue gloves, while the knifeman had a black and white patterned bandana and tracksuit bottoms with two white stripes down the legs.
Detectives are linking the incident to another armed robbery which took place minutes earlier at My Shop, in Fortess Road, Kentish Town.
A gunman and knifeman entered the shop before threatening staff and making off with £300 cash from the till.
The suspects made off into Burghley Road from Dartmouth Park Hill, leaving staff shocked but unhurt.
The gunman was also described as wearing blue gloves and the second man, also a patterned bandana and tracksuit bottoms with two white stripes down the legs.
