Teenager recovering from stab attack in Brixton


An 18-year-old man who was stabbed in a street in south London is recovering from the attack, police said.

The victim was stabbed several times during the attack in Brixton Road, in Brixton, near to its junction with Loughborough Road.

Police said the teenager was now in a stable condition.

The teenager, who has not been named, was assaulted at about 1915 GMT on Monday. No arrests have yet been made and police inquiries continue.

Brixton Road, which was closed to traffic following the incident, was reopened in the early hours of Tuesday.
