One man dies and another hurt when hit by London buses

A man has died and another has been taken to hospital after two separate instances of buses hitting pedestrians in north London.

The first man was knocked down at the junction of Colyton Way and Fore Street in Edmonton at 1700 BST on Thursday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second was injured on Tottenham High Road at its junction with Broad Lane at 1500 BST on Friday.

He is aged between 40 and 50 and his injuries are not life-threatening.

Police said no arrests had been made over either incident.

Transport for London said a full investigation was being carried out.
