Woman in court charged with King's Cross Tube murder
A woman has appeared in court charged with murdering a person who fell under a London Underground train.
Sonia, 63, of central London, whose legal name was David Burgess, was hit by a train at King's Cross during Monday's evening rush hour.
Nina Kanagasingham, 34, of Cricklewood, north London, appeared at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court accused of the murder.
She was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Monday.
The Piccadilly Line was temporarily closed and the station was evacuated to allow police to recover the body.
