A man has been charged with the murder of a Canadian woman whose body was found in a suitcase at Heathrow Airport in 1999.

The case holding Fatima Kama's body was left in a trolley at the car park at Terminal 3 in July 1999.

Youseff Ahmed Wahid, a former Kuwaiti Airlines steward, had been arrested in Bahrain last month and arrived in London on Wednesday and was charged.

The 41-year-old is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later.
