A 75-year-old man and his 46-year-old girlfriend who were found dead at their home in a Lincolnshire town have been named locally.
The bodies of Michael Cobley and Zanna Ernstone were discovered in Wilders Garth, Holbeach, on Thursday.
According to media reports, the alarm was raised by a neighbour who became concerned she had not seen or heard of the couple for a week.
Lincolnshire Police are treating their deaths as unexplained.
The force said post-mortem examinations were due to be carried out.
According to the Daily Mail, Mr Cobley is believed to have been a retired coalman and had lived with factory worker Ms Ernstone for several years.
Neighbours said that he had suffered from a brain tumour about four years ago and needed a mobility scooter to get around.
Ms Ernstone, who was originally from Latvia, worked at a local factory.
