Firefighters have been damping down after fire ripped through a seaside hotel in Lincolnshire.

The blaze broke out at the Sea Lane Hotel, in Sea Lane, Ingoldmells, at about midday on Friday.

No-one is thought to have been injured in the fire. An investigation is under way to attempt to find out how it started.

Several families who live in static caravans for most of the year use the hotel as winter accommodation.

An appeal was started for clothes, bedding and toiletries to help those affected.

Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue Service said two fire engines remained at the scene overnight and made "good progress at damping down hot spots".
