Detectives investigating an armed raid carried out by robbers dressed in panda onesies have arrested two suspects.

Lincolnshire Police said a 17-year-old youth and a man aged 21 were detained on Tuesday on suspicion of robbery.

The pair have since been bailed pending further inquiries into the raid at a newsagents in Eastgate, Louth, on 29 November.

During the raid, a female member of staff was forced to remove cash from a safe, before the robbers fled on foot.

Lincolnshire Police said one of those involved was armed with what was believed to be a handgun.
