Woman charged after man stabbed in Grantham

A woman has been charged with wounding with intent after a man was stabbed at a house in a Lincolnshire market town on New Year's Day.

Emergency services were called to River View Maltings, Grantham, at about 11:30 GMT, on Thursday.

A 42-year-old man was airlifted to the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, where he is receiving treatment.

The 41-year-old woman, who is from Gonerby Hill Foot, is due to appear before magistrates in Lincoln.
