Lincoln boy's death: Man charged with grandson's murder

The grandfather of a nine-year-old boy found dead in Lincoln has been charged with his murder.

Stewart Greene, 64, from Grimoldby, near Louth, will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on Friday accused of killing Alex Robinson.

Lincolnshire Police said officers had been called to a house in Pennell Street in the city on Tuesday.

Alex was taken from the address by ambulance to Lincoln County Hospital and was pronounced dead later.

A post-mortem examination was carried out on Wednesday.
