Allen Meade named as cyclist found dead in Spalding ditch

A cyclist who was found dead in a ditch near a golf club in Lincolnshire has been named by police.

The body of Allen Meade, 55, of Gedney Hill, near Spalding, was discovered on Monday near Gedney Hill Golf Club.

The last confirmed sighting of Mr Meade was at about 12:15 BST on Monday at the venue's clubhouse.

Detectives are waiting for forensic test results to establish why he died but have said they are not treating his death as suspicious.
