HMP Lincoln murder probe as inmate Alan Goode found dead
A inmate has been arrested after the death of a 73-year-old prisoner in his cell at HMP Lincoln.
Alan Goode, from Leicestershire, who was serving nine-months for voyeurism, was discovered by staff shortly before 06:00 GMT.
An ambulance was called but Goode was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lincolnshire Police said a murder investigation had started and a 35-year-old man inmate had been arrested in connection with the death.
Goode was jailed in October after he was found lying on a cubicle floor in the women's toilets of a Leicester shopping centre.
