Lincolnshire farmer accused of driving into man on his land

A farmer has appeared in court after allegedly driving into a suspected intruder on his land in Lincolnshire, causing serious injuries.

Lincoln Magistrates Court heard Dennis Tindale, 76, confronted three men at Village Farm, Marton, on Sunday.

Mr Tindale is charged with causing grievous bodily harm and wanton or furious driving.

He was remanded in custody for 14 days when he will appear before Lincoln Crown Court.
