Louth woman dies days after West Barkwith car crash

A 63-year-old women has died days after a car crash in Lincolnshire which left her with "serious fractures and internal injuries".

The crash happened on the A157 at West Barkwith, near Wragby, on Monday.

The woman was cut free from a silver Kia Picanto and taken to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham where she died.

The 31-year-old female driver of the second vehicle, a silver Audi TT, was treated for minor injuries.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
