A teenager has collapsed and died following a football training session in Lincolnshire.

Craig Rawlinson, 18, who played for non-league Burgh Town, died at Boston's Pilgrim hospital on Friday after training in Skegness.

The landlord of the Red Lion pub in Burgh Le Marsh where Craig worked said his family and friends had been laying tributes outside.

Max Waxman said Craig was "a lovely, lovely lad and a great player".

The East Lincs League fourth division club said on its Facebook page Saturday's match had been postponed as a mark of respect.
